When Chris was taken to the hospital by the paramedics, he was in very serious condition. His spine was fractured in many places, had broken ribs, a broken shoulder that was not discovered for about two weeks due to the seriousness of his other injuries, a concussion, bleeding around his heart for unknown reasons, some “road rash”, and other injuries.
